:iconsayhiplz: I feel like it's been forever since I was last on DA. I probably have missed out on a lot too.

The reason I have been gone for so long is that I have moved from Utah and now live in Colorado Springs with my fiancé Bryce :iconlawyerbot: We moved out here to help support his family since his father was in the hospital due to kidney problems. Now we've been here since the end of April. Lived with his parents for three months (which was tough by the way). During this time I had all of my art supplies in a storage unit and only had a little sketch pad and a pouch of pens I could carry with me. I have never missed painting so much in my life before.

While living with his parents during these three months, I was given the opportunity to teach children art. His mother is a child/family psychiatrist and employed me to help teach an art therapy group. It was a lot of fun and a great learning experience. I would love to share some of the art pieces on here but all of it is confidential and I wont be able to show them. Once the art therapy sessions were over though, I was able to help host an art exhibit in the end. It was a great outcome.

But now, Bryce and I were able to get a place with a friend of his. Bryan is a pretty cool guy and he loves to draw random comics occasionally so I have a drawing buddy. :icondeyedplz:

Having this place also means I was able to unpack my ART SUPPLIES!!!!!!!
I've only painted a little though. I feel like I'm way out of practice and I need to get into the habit of painting often again. Opening all the boxes that contained my art supplies was like opening presents on Christmas. A lot of fun :)

I will need to practice painting though because I have a commission soon. A woman would like a painting of her husband and her for his birthday on October 1st. I'm super excited to do it.

OH! And another thing, Bryce has a Intuos 5 Medium tablet that he gave me to use that has huge room for me to draw on <3 <3 I love him.

Anyways, that is all for now. Hopefully I'll post some art soon!

p.s. We were able to get an adorable new member to our family. Her name is Mia and she is a border collie/australian shepherd mix and she's being trained to be a service dog for Bryce.
p.p.s. Looks like I need to upgrade my premium membership :/
